The uncomfortable bit about hosted notes tools
Everything you are thinking about, half-formed, before you have decided whether it is any good, sits on someone else's server under someone else's terms. For a shopping list that is a shrug. For client work, strategy or anything commercially sensitive, it is a question you would rather not be asked in an audit.
What the 3D graph is for
Not decoration. Once a body of notes gets large enough the useful information lives in the connections rather than the documents, and connections are genuinely hard to see in a list. Rendering them spatially makes clusters and orphans obvious at a glance.
